Does YubiKey Make Two-Step Authentication Less Annoying?

Fascinating, but I don't think this will be right for everyone. 2FA (two-factor authentication), on the other hand, is something we should all be doing. If you're not because you think it's too inconvenient, check out this article to see if this gizmo may help you. And if you do, tell us about it.

In the future, I think passwords will have gone the way of floppy drives, encyclopedias and DOS. I've been thinking that Steve Gibson's SQRL - Secure Quick Reliable Login might be a good replacement.

I've found one problem with 2FA.
Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

I have read about SQRL before, and from what I can understand, I like it. It seems a good mix of security and ease-of-use. I think most users will simply not use any system that is too complex. I personally would not use the Yubikey, but it is an interesting product that will appeal to some.
